While living in the Czech Republic, I discovered what is the most stunning and picturesque countryside in Europe.  Lush with pristine forests and lots of space, it is a sight to behold.  It’s little wonder that the Czech Republic has been used as a location in many movies including Casino Royale, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe and The Bourne Identity.

There are many villages to visit and all the locals are very friendly.

The locations are easy to get to from Prague either by car or train.

The air is crisp, especially in the winter and it serves as the perfect getaway.  It also offers a different view to the Czech Republic.  Centuries of history and stories lie in the lands outside the city of Prague.
