Tai-O is one of the fishing villages remaining in Hong Kong. Located on the western side of Lantau Island, it is a getaway for the few who seek a refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Sites include a walking trail along the hillside of the coast, or taking a boat out to the sea where you may catch a glimpse of the Chinese White dolphins.

The local delicacies mainly consist of seafood.  Walking through the village, there are racks of seafood ranging from puffer fish to shrimp being dried in the sun.

This quaint Venice of Asia, is a full of friendly people and provides a location full of character.
